While I don’t watch hockey, there was a bit of controversy a few weeks ago over the ‘Hockey Night in Canada’ theme song. The song got pulled, so a bunch of people started whining about it. CBC then made a contest for a new theme song. Right now, however, it looks like they did a pretty bad job setting it up. Browsing the ‘anthem gallery’ and sorting by ‘top rated/all time’ reveals that all the results have very low view counts (all about 30 views total). I can only hypothesize that the system can be very easily gamed by resubmitting material, making false accounts, or using page refreshers.
