Compare it to Battlefield 2/2142 for example. What's not fun is everyone at level 55, cheat or no cheat. We could also blame it on Activision, for making the mistake of having an mpdata file and not tracking stats for CoD4. IMO this was a big mistake. Anywho it's a fun game, and the fact that everyone's level 55 doesn't lessen the experience. They made it too easy to level up. Compare it to Battlefield 2/2142 for example.

The fun is in moving up through the level's, unlocking new guns and getting much more experienced at the game. Not cheating by getting there using a Cheat like you are doing.
