Call of Duty 4 Best Combos

May 10th, 2008

These are the combos I have stuck with for a long time, and they serve well on every map:

  1. M21, Mini-Uzi (red dot), Claymores, Overkill, and Deeper Penetration
  2. RPG (grip), Stopping Power, Deep Impact
  3. G3 (red dot), RPG-7, Stopping Power, Dead Silence
  4. P90 (silenced), Claymores, UAV Jammer, Extreme Conditioning
  5. M16 (silenced), Bomb Squad, UAV Jammer, Dead Silence

My favourite of course is the silenced P90 with extreme conditioning. This allows you to sprint across any  map. It works wonders when rushing at the start of the game.

Skunkhour - Up To Our Necks In It

Skunkhour - Up To Our Necks In It

Listening to Triple J’s Hottest 100 vol. 3 (1995), I came across this Skunkhour jam. Smooth, smooth vibe. When I looked it up on the Tubes it surprised me that there were only two search results for “Skunkhour”. If you like the sounds, you can check their Myspace.

D Fast (Harry Damm)

March 24th, 2008

Harry Damm, the guy behind D Fast, has putted (read: mini putt) all his songs onto the internets in mp3 format. They can be found at f0nk.com.

I highly suggest you check out Vapid Vinegar off his “Tribute to Twang EP” . Sick track - bit of big beat, bit of hop, bit o’ breaks.

And if you’re a bit dense, he’s got all these online free of charge. What a Nice Guy. Clapclapclapclap.

Online NES emulator (plus Ian Pooley)

March 2nd, 2008

Nintendo8: play every Nintendo game from your browser!

Super Mario Heaven. Instead of time wasting on teh intraweb you might as well waste it playing Java powered, vNES run online ROMs. Shame there’s no RSS feed for their NES Game Of The Day.

Something UnRelated for 2 March 2008 happens to be Balmes (A Better Life) from Ian Pooley with vocals by Esthero. Chilled down funky house with a tad bit of Brazilian in the mix. Keeper. There’s also Pooley’s New Vocal Mix if you like the original.
